MAKE A DIFFERENCE: I SUPPORT THE GIRLS

MAKE A DIFFERENCE: I SUPPORT THE GIRLS

_

I remember as a pre-teen I could not wait to wear a bra. I believed that wearing a bra signified that I was truly a woman, and there was nothing more I craved than adulthood and freedom. Now at 29 years old a bra has become apart of my daily routine and clothing, I don’t think twice about it as I get myself dressed and ready for the day. The only difference is I enjoy taking it off at the end of a long day.

Even though I might take my bra for granted (or even a burden sometimes), for many women having a bra is a luxury. There are women both domestically & internationally that do not have a bra and often have to pick other necessities before getting a new bra. Wearing the same bra repeatedly (without washing it) can lead to a build up bacteria and can be harmful. This is a reality for many women that are refugees or fleeing from domestic abuse.

I SUPPORT THE GIRLS in an organization that works to give bras and feminine hygiene products to women in need. To date, the organization has been able to give over 500,000 bras and help over 320,000 women and girls! Their impact was made possible by donors like me and you. Thats right, you can donate your bras (in good condition) to women in need by simply mailing them in. More information can be found here. Be the type of woman that supports and empowers other women by helping out today!
